Planning your Trip
Norwegian Adventures offers you an all-inclusive package specially designed to fulfill your specific needs and desires.
The planning process is enjoyable and interesting and is of course a collaboration between the traveller and the professional assistant. Please provide as comprehensive and detailed information as possible to the following questions:
When do you want to go? (Exact dates if known, or time of year, if flexible - see below, under "Seasons", for information about the different times of year in Norway)
How many will be traveling in your party?
How long do you want to stay?
What are your main interests/goals? i.e.: nature, culture, food, family/genealogy, sports, outdoor life, history, or other topics.
Are there any particular places, sites, etc. that you wish to visit?
What standard do you require of food and accommodation on your trip: 5,4,3 or 2 stars?
If you want us to trace your ancestors, we need to know at least the name of the immigrant and approximate year of arrival in North America (See "Genealogy" for details).
Do you require a special diet?
Do you have any other special needs, i.e. wheelchair, etc.?
Is there any other information we need to ensure that we arrange a perfect holiday for you?
Airline tickets:
Which city will you be departing from?
Which class of service do you require, i.e. Tourist, Business or First Class?
Is there a particular airline/airlines you prefer to travel with?
Delivery/planning time
In addition to the necessary time we will need to do any genealogical research, please allow at least 1 month of preparation time for the actual trip to Scandinavia.
Seasons
Norway is always beautiful. Every season has its own charms, and Norwegian Adventures is happy to welcome you all the year around. But it is important to be aware that Norway normally has snow and temperatures below the freezing point from December to March, often some weeks more on either end.
